Halsey Tour Poster (concept)
Halsey’s Manic World Tour in 2021 was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This unfortunate happenstance inspired me to create a poster for the extravaganza that could have been.
The design showcases a proficient use of Photoshop, employing text boxes, blending modes, and textures to manipulate a key image. This reflects an advanced understanding of graphic design software, particularly in enhancing typography.
Skillful use of line, color, and contrast guides the composition, creating a visually striking canvas for concert details. The incorporation of texture in typography contributes to a distinctive punk aesthetic. Extensive ideation is evident in the design's development, stemming from a thoughtful exploration of the image's contrasts.
The commitment to brainstorming various tour poster drafts resulted in the final compelling and gritty punk look. The design adheres to the assignment's directions, creating a typographic design using a single asset beyond typography. No deviations from the given instructions are noted.
